U.S. CLIVAR Summit 23-25 July 2007

Annapolis, MD


The U.S. CLIVAR Summit will be held on July 23-25 in Annapolis, Maryland (a short ride from the Baltimore Washington International Airport). Meeting Reports and logistical details are available below. This will be an opportunity for the U.S. CLIVAR panels and committee to meet in plenary and separately.

Annapolis, Maryland - America's Sailing Capital. Known best for the Chesapeake Bay, the U.S. Naval Academy, tasty steamed crabs and crab cakes, it's the perfect balance of small town charm and big world sophistication. Annapolis is 27 miles from both Washington D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland. It is located on the Severn River. Annapolis average annual rainfall is 39.03 inches per year. Annapolis average temperature is 55.6 degrees F. The average low temperature is 35.5 (winter) degrees F. The average high temperature is 85.2 (summer) degrees F. Annapolis elevation is 92 feet above sea level.
